Hotel Training
Hotel manager
Hotel management trainees are true all-rounders and work in virtually every area of a hotel. During your training, you will gain comprehensive insights into reception, reservations, guest relations, event organisation, housekeeping, restaurant service, stock management, the kitchen, bookkeeping and human resources management, amongst other things. You will learn how a hotel is organised efficiently – from the initial booking enquiry right through to providing perfect service on the ground. Each of these areas plays a key role in a hotel’s success. Once you’ve completed your training, a wide range of career opportunities will be open to you: whether in a managerial role at a hotel or within a hotel chain, working abroad, pursuing further training to become a business administrator, or continuing your studies.
Hotel Training
Cook
As a chef, you combine creativity with organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You plan menus, calculate ingredient quantities, purchase the ingredients and use them to prepare culinary highlights. In doing so, you always keep track of the workflow in the kitchen, work with professional kitchen equipment and ensure a smooth service. In addition to technical skills, knowledge of nutritional aspects is also required – after all, you advise our guests on ingredients and dishes. A mindful approach to food and the development of new recipes make this profession particularly varied. After your training, numerous career paths are open to you: whether as a head chef or F&B manager in a hotel, working abroad, undertaking further training to become a master chef, or pursuing further studies
