Dating back to 1770, the oldest part of the property began life as a working farm and later served as a post horse stable. At the Hotel Restaurant Kreuz Reichenau on Lake Constance in Germany, there is a little bit more of everything – and that also applies to the daylight in the restaurant: the numerous windows, some of which extend from floor to ceiling, allow plenty of vitamin D into the room. Vitamin C is provided by the juices from the breakfast buffet, which, incidentally, leaves (almost) nothing to be desired with its wide range of options. The buffet is presented as if on a small stage. During the day, the breakfast room is transformed into a restaurant. From there, the transition to the bar is seamless.

Sitting slightly elevated, you can enjoy your meal in small or large groups on either side of the historic building. The outdoor terrace serves all the delicacies that you can also order indoors, namely: tasty German cuisine made with regional ingredients – from beef broth to roast beef with onions and burgers to apple strudel.
