The rugs HOTEL Düsseldorf is a self-check-in hotel. Therefore, there is no traditional front desk. However, our service team is available in person Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and will be happy to assist you with any questions regarding your stay. Outside these service hours, check-in is convenient and flexible via our self-check-in system. You will receive your personal access code via email well in advance of your arrival.

The Düsseldorf Hotel Hauptbahnhof is your starting point for shopping on Königsallee, relaxing late afternoons and evenings along the Rhine promenade, and strolling through the Old Town. Family-friendly entertainment is also just a short walk away. Düsseldorf Central Station is 650 meters away, and public transportation will take you to the trade fair grounds and the international airport in no more than 15 minutes. If you’re arriving by car, parking spaces are available for a fee upon prior reservation via email.

Is there a reception?
No, we don’t have a reception. However, our service staff are on hand to assist you from Monday to Saturday, 7.00 am to 3.00 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is possible at any time from 3.00 pm (provided your room has already been paid for).
You can check out by 11.00 am.
Is a late arrival possible?
You can arrive at any time, provided the room has been paid for in advance. Access is via an access code, which you will receive before you check in.
Is early check-in and late check-out possible?
Early check-in can be booked on site, subject to availability. The price is as follows:
Until 11.00: €35
From 11.00 to 14.00: €9.99
From 14.00: free of charge
Late check-out can also be booked on site, subject to availability.
Until 1 pm: €9.99
Until 3 pm: €35
After 3 pm: the cost of one night’s accommodation
Is there on-site parking available directly at the hotel?
A parking space in our underground car park is available for an additional charge of 20 euros per night. The entrance to our underground car park has a height restriction of 1.70 metres and is therefore not suitable for Sprinters or buses.
The car park is available from around 3 pm on the day of arrival until 12 noon at the latest on the day of departure.
Earlier access is possible but cannot be guaranteed in advance. You can send a written booking enquiry by email to duesseldorf@rugshotel.com.
Where can I park if all the parking spaces are taken?
The following options are available to you:
- The “Farmont” car park at Charlottenstr. 50 (you can also enter from Oststr. 116). The car park is about a 4-minute walk from the hotel.
- The car park at the main railway station at Charlottenstr. 62 costs 22 euros a day.
Are there electric vehicle charging points at the hotel?
