Whether it’s a one-week school work placement or a placement semester as part of a tourism degree – with us, you’ll gain your first practical experience and get an initial insight into our company and the industry. Work placements are available both in our hotels and at our head office in Munich.

Take a look behind the scenes at a hotel
A hotel work placement is an ideal opportunity to familiarise yourself with the day-to-day operations of a hotel and gain valuable initial experience. The tasks and duties are varied. Depending on the type of hotel, these may include reception and guest services, housekeeping (room cleaning), breakfast and/or restaurant and bar service, the kitchen, event management and support, as well as administration. You will gain an insight into various areas of the hotel, develop communication and teamwork skills, gain initial practical experience in dealing with guests, have the opportunity to put your foreign language skills into practice, and have the chance to start an apprenticeship or a dual study programme at GSH.

Internships at our hotels are not usually advertised. However, that doesn’t mean we don’t have any. Simply get in touch directly with the hotel manager at your preferred hotel. Our colleagues will decide on a case-by-case basis whether an internship is possible. It is important to us that you really learn something during your internship at Gorgeous Smiling Hotels and that we can guarantee you good support – that is why we do not publish general information about available internship positions. For an internship at our head office in Munich, our HR team is at your disposal.
